During our last buying trip to Los Angeles, we were magnetically drawn into a small jewelry booth at a trade show. We were smitten by the earthy, rugged feel of Alkemie jewelry. Right away we started ordering pieces we liked. The curiosity-shop-inspired display (see photos top left) was irresistible.

Our instant attraction to Alkemie jewelry only became stronger when we met the designers, Dara and Ashley (a husband-and-wife duo).
